    Nowadays, Internet is no longer just about e-mail and Web sites. The net has become the critical medium, powering a growing list of revenue-generating business activities from e-commerce and e-supply chain management to online marketplaces and collaboration. The sum of all these activities can acquire the term Web Services.

Years it took to reach a market audience of 50 million:

* Internet 4 years                         * iPod 3 years
* Facebook 2 years

    In fact, the number of internet devices in 1984 was 1,000. Moreover, in 1992 was 1,000,000. And now a days it is 1,000,000,000  and more. Did you know that the amount of new technical information is doubling every 2 years?

    When you access the internet, you are likely to be asked for our personal information. You could fill your personal information in a profile, form, or an account. These information has to be secured. You do not want your information fallen in to the wrong hands. It has to be received safely.

    When you open a new account in Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo!, Hotmail  or any others  you will absolutely be asked for your name,location, phone number, photo,elc. How would you be sure that the data you entered wont be intercepted or changed by the third party??!

    If you want to make sure that when your information is secured,  first you should make sure that when you are entering information, it says https in the URL at the top of your web browser. If it only says http, then it isn't secure. The s stands for secure. Moreover, make sure that there is a padlock next to the URL. And if the URL is highlighted in green that's especially OK!

Have we ever thought to exchange books with iPad?

Instead of using textbook of using textbook, printing papers, buying files and bags for you books, pen, pencils, rubber! Why would you need all that? Just to learn ??!

 What if we started using iPad Device for education here in Oman ?! What if i told you that people started learning using ipad. For example, UAE has recently launched the iPad Initiative. In fact, on September 9 , 2012,  14,800 iPad was distributed in 17 campuses belonging to the the three UAE Federal Higher Education institutions.

Students now can simply carry their ipad and go to school. Parents are pleased from the Financial side. Instead of buying all school tools and requirement they just buy an ipad which cost less than the cost of laptops combining it with the cost of the other school requirement.

Learning by ipad is much more easier than learning using textbook. Student wont worry about the size of the book and the weight. They also won't worry about losing there books or forgetting it. All your subjects will be downloaded in you ipad. Even us as university student its more easier for us to carry one ipad instead of carrying 3 books, notebook, and a laptop.

iPad initiative is also environmentally friendly. We can protect our environment from pollution by
reducing the number of paper that we use.

So why don't we start iPad Initiative in Oman ??! What do you think about it??

    Tough..Tough and everything will wok. A Glass can be your everything. Your TV, clock, calendar, computer and even you phone. It simply will be your everything. Nowadays, all phones and computers are made with tough screens. This video tells the future which will be true soon. Since we started with tough screens the we can reach that stage soon. However, it will be hard to live it.

    At the beginning it will look innovative. People will love it, life will be so WOOW! Everything will be easy and interesting. But then, everything will start to be boring. People will miss the natural life. They will miss the entertainment of using things, pressing buttons instead of touching screens, typing on key boards and holding books.

    Life is changing, will we be able to live it with all these technologies? There should be limited technology. Lot of technology is bad. Everything has limits. I can't live that life and I won't be able to live it either. The question is : can you live that life?
